Cellar Door Team Member 

Position: Casual Saturday Shifts
Location: Tokar Estate, Yarra Valley

Are you fun, energetic, and passionate about wine? Tokar Estate is looking for a vibrant and personable team member to provide a memorable and informative wine tasting experience at our cellar door.

Wine can be serious, but we believe tastings should be fun, engaging, and educational! We’re seeking someone with excellent people skills who loves to tell stories and share their passion for wine. Extensive wine knowledge and an understanding of the Yarra Valley region are essential to ensure guests have an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host wine tastings for individuals and groups (20+ guests) with confidence and enthusiasm
• Share knowledge about Tokar Estate wines and the Yarra Valley region in a fun, engaging manner
• Build rapport with guests, making their experience enjoyable and memorable
• Maintain a high standard of customer service in a busy, fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For:

• A friendly, energetic personality with a natural ability to build rapport
• A passion for wine, hospitality, and customer service
• A confident public speaker, comfortable leading tastings for large groups
• A genuine, hardworking, and transparent work ethic
• Extensive wine knowledge (knowledge of the Yarra Valley region is a plus!)
• WSET highly regarded
